Blog #6. Japanese Friendship Garden Visit

This past Wednesday my girlfriend and I decided to visit the Japanese Friendship Garden in downtown Phoenix. I kind of felt as if though it was going to be boring but said I would go because we had nothing else to do. When we got there and went in to pay, the lady was super nice and seemed very passionate about the garden. She proceeded to offer us koi fish food and I was skeptical and just thought she was trying to sell us something but I went ahead and bought some koi fish food. The garden was not huge by any means but it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. The fish were HUGE! me and my girlfriend joked that this is where I should come fishing. As soon as the fish saw people they came right up and were not scared. It was a ton of fun and my girlfriend was able to actually pet the fish.
